- Yes,
I am a Certified Public Accountant and have traveled all over the State
of Alaska
before I became a teacher. Yea, numbers can be boring and I like
being in the classroom so much more than a boardroom. I have
taught Accounting, Computer Applications, Algebra,
U.S. History and
World History at East
High School.
- Present:
- I
teach Applied Tech and Keyboarding at West High. They actually
pay me to help teach kids to build solar power cars, rockets, catapults
and race cars. Talk about having some fun!
- Sports:
- I
love both downhill and cross country skiing, soccer, football, and
baseball.
- Hobbies:
- I
really enjoy traveling, horses, fly fishing, dipnetting the Kenai and a
great book by the campfire.
- Perfect Day:
- Sunshine,
working out in the morning, getting outside and enjoying friends and
having a really great meal at the end of the day!
- Vision of my Life:
- Don't
be in a rush to grow up and make a life for yourself. Enjoy the
journey, say hello to everyone you meet and remember that life is a
gift given to you so that you may share it with others. Oh, and
be happy!
