Welcome
West Skiers and Parents to the 2007-8 season.
We have over 90 skiers signed up and are looking forward to a great
season. Thanks to the many parents,
skiers, coaches, and volunteers helping to make this such a great team and

The ever-popular RAFFLE (with wonderful prizes donated by AMH)!
Time: 5:00 pm: Scavenger Hunt (bring digital camera and skis)
5:30-6:30 pm: set up
6:30 to 8:30 pm: dinner & program
8:30 to 9:00 pm: clean up
Where: “West” Room, Kincaid Chalet
What to Bring:
If your last name begins with…please bring
A-C: Dessert
D-M: Salad or Side Dish
N-Z: Main Dish (no spaghetti, please!)
Anyone: non-alcoholic beverages (or will be stuck with water and Gatorade)

Upcoming Events
Weds, Feb 27th Uniform Return Day. In the ski hall , starting at 2pm. The uniforms need to be clean (washed in cold water & drip dry). |

Upcoming Fundraiser!
What: Concessions Stand, hosted by West X-C Ski Boosters
Where: Junior Olympics (Nationals), Kincaid Park
When: Wed, March 12th
This promises to be a very effective fundraiser for the ski team, as there
are 1000+ potentially hungry people expected!
$$: Funds generated will be used to purchase needed jackets, hats, and
uniforms for next year. We are running short on all of these items (and
the funds to purchase them with!).
How you can help:
Make a crock-pot of soup or chili to sell
Create some home-made pastries to sell
Donate funds to purchase items
Donate time at the concession stand
